In conversation with Alejandro Mora, revenue manager at ipartment
Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us what makes your hotel or host role stand out.
Hola, my name is Alejandro and I'm a revenue manager at ipartment. We are one of the leading German serviced apartment providers in the area of long-stay business. ipartment began in 2010 with an idea that we have implemented consistently and only through organic growth: to be the leading provider of service and design-oriented temporary living. Two apartments in Cologne have now become 1,300 design serviced apartments in Germany, offering our guests a second home.
Did you or how did you do revenue management before you switched to Happyhotel?
Yes and no We did everything manually. As a result, price control was very time-consuming.
What were the decision criteria for Happyhotel?
Happyhotel is self-explanatory, uncomplicated and fully automated. It gives us the opportunity to yield in a short stay, but also to display dynamic prices in the mid and long stay segment... and it's fun to work with it. Having personal support and a direct point of contact was also a decisive criterion.
What do you like best about Happyhotel?
What I like best is how the algorithm is constantly learning, which makes price control very intuitive and fully automated.
Have you already made any noticeable additional sales and if so, by what percentage have you been able to increase your turnover through Happyhotel?
Definitely! If we take our house in Frankfurt as an example, sales have risen by around 30% at this point in time (April 2024) compared to last year.
What do you want for HappyHotel's future?
We are in constant contact with Happyhotel regarding new projects. In particular, how we can work together to better adapt the algorithm to our needs in the long stay segment. We are simply looking forward to the future.

Forget manual price adjustments. With happyhotel, you can maximize your income without constantly checking prices.
