Bridging aid III extended until 2030 — also: up to €20,000 digitization bonus for fixed costs of investments in digitization!
With bridging aid III, the state supports companies, self-employed people and freelancers. Through subsidies for fixed costs, in the months in which you had sales losses (compared to 2019) of at least 30 percent. Bridging aid III is valid until 2023.
In addition, you can claim one-time fixed costs of up to €20,000 for investments in digitization. If you lose sales of more than 70%, you will even get 90% of the investment reimbursed!
The decisive factor is that your investments are not incurred as ongoing costs, but as a one-off “fixed cost amount.”
When do I have a chance to receive a subsidy through the digitization premium?
In addition to the digitization bonus under the “Brückungshilfe III” funding program, there are currently many other funding programs offered by the Federal Government. Exactly what can be funded varies from state to state and depends on the individual program conditions. These can be found on the websites of the respective funding programs. YES! Happyhotel is also eligible for funding with the help of funding programs. Because it is a Process automation system. Sometimes the only thing that matters is the correct invoicing. Example invoice Digitalization premium
Here is an example calculation of how the amount of the digitization premium could be determined.
Your hotel is completely closed and your revenue loss is over 70 percent. Your monthly fixed costs are 30,000€. They are reimbursed 90% (27,000€) by Brückungshilfe III. You will invest 20,000€ in digitization in May 2021. An additional 90% of this will then be reimbursed. That equates to 18,000€. It makes no difference whether you have one large or several small projects funded.

What should I do if I want to get a project funded?
If you have eligible digitization projects, you should definitely contact the funding institute and get advice. The more specific your ideas and projects are, the better! You should also never wait unnecessarily long, otherwise you would run the risk that the conveyor pot will be empty.
Examples of eligible projects
All projects that only meet one of the above requirements are theoretically eligible for funding! The only important thing is that the costs are one-off. Otherwise, they are not considered an investment.
