In conversation with Kevin Sibürge, Head of Revenue at Hotel Brandenburger Tor
Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us what makes your hotel or host role stand out.
My name is Kevin Sibürge and I have been working in revenue for various companies in the hotel industry for 10 years.
Did you or how did you do revenue management before you switched to happyhotel?
In my many years of work in Revenue, I've always worked with different RMS. At the Potsdam House, this was previously not possible due to the PMS system. Here, we had to manually change rate categories from the PMS in the old way before the PMS changeover. By switching to happyhotel, we can work much faster, more efficiently and in more detail.
What were the decision criteria for Happyhotel?
With the conversion of the PMS, it was clear from the start that an RMS also had to be connected. At ITB 2023, I received a very good and professional presentation of the system and immediately got a good impression. After a few more appointments, I was impressed by the functionality, the user-friendly user interface and the price-performance ratio. But the entire communication with the team, which is always open and helpful, has also contributed to this decision.
What do you like best about Happyhotel?
Loading rates and reacting quickly to market changes. Reporting is uncomplicated and provides the necessary reports.
Have you already made any noticeable additional sales and if so, by what percentage have you been able to increase your turnover through happyhotel?
In the first few months, we were able to see a significant increase in the short term of bookings as a result of the adjustments. But since we've only been live for a few months, we can't give any exact figures yet.

Forget manual price adjustments. With happyhotel, you can maximize your income without constantly checking prices.
