Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us what makes your hotel or host role stand out.
My name is Christoph Mödl and I work for Neighborhood Hotels in Nuremberg, which belong to the local Alpha real estate group. There I co-manage the Melter Hotel & Apartments and the Hotel Karl August with a total of 173 rooms as Director of Revenue Management and Authorized Representative.

Did you or how did you do revenue management before you switched to happyhotel?
Before happyhotel, we implemented our revenue management using 30 price levels via our PMS and numerous Excel tools.

What were the decision criteria for Happyhotel?
The decisive factors for choosing happyhotel were the range of functions that were perfectly tailored to us, the ease of use, the simple integration with our existing PMS and that happyhotel is a company based in Germany.

How does Happyhotel make everyday life easier for you?
First and foremost, fast data transfer is a great help. In addition, the automatic pickup report is very practical, which gives me an overview of the most important key figures in a short period of time. Happyhotel also gives us very flexible pricing for individual categories.

Which feature do you like best?
I couldn't decide yet.

What does the dynamic pricing process look like for you NOW?
That remains our trade secret;).

How has your average working day changed since the integration of happyhotel?
Thanks to happyhotel, we have a higher rate of price updates. In other words, our prices are adjusted much more frequently than before. Happyhotel also saves me a lot of time.

Have you already made any noticeable additional sales and if so, by what percentage have you been able to increase your turnover through happyhotel?
That also remains our trade secret;).

What are your personal tips for future users of happyhotel?
I would recommend that you stay in close contact with Happyhotel and always share your wishes. In this way, you can actively participate in constantly improving Happyhotel and adapting it to your needs. I can also recommend that you also make yourself available as testimonials for new features.
